- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the Boursin cheese in the center of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Scatter the cherry tomatoes and whole garlic cloves around the cheese.
- Drizzle everything with olive oil. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tomatoes are blistered and the Boursin is soft.
- While the cheese bakes, cook the orzo in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water before draining.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven. Mash the roasted garlic cloves with a fork and burst the tomatoes. Stir the melted Boursin and tomato juices together to form a creamy sauce.
- Add the drained orzo and grated Parmesan to the baking dish. Pour in 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water and stir vigorously until a creamy sauce forms and coats the pasta. Add more pasta water if needed. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
