- In a small bowl, cream together the softened butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley until a smooth paste forms.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each sourdough slice, ensuring even coverage to the edges.
Cooking
- Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a cold skillet, then turn the heat to medium-low.
- Pile the shredded mozzarella and cheddar onto the slices in the pan. Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the bread is a vibrant golden-brown with visible charred edges and the cheese is fully melted.
Notes
Use a lid over the skillet for the first 2 minutes to help the cheese melt faster without burning the garlic.
