Preparation and Searing
- Place a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp (28g) of butter and let it melt until foaming.
- Add the corn in a single layer. Let sit undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until charred brown edges appear. Toss to sear other sides.
Glazing and Finishing
- Lower heat to medium. Add remaining 2 tbsp (28g) butter and 2 tbsp (42g) honey. Stir until a thick, glossy, translucent sauce coats the kernels.
- Stir in cracked black pepper, dried parsley flakes, and salt. Sauté for 2 more minutes until vibrant and fragrant.
Notes
Always pat frozen corn dry to ensure a good sear.
