  • 0.5 cup Monterey Jack Cheese 50g, shredded fragments
  • 0.5 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese 50g, shredded fragments
  • 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Flakes
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add oil, salt, and flour. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 60-90 minutes until doubled.
Shape and Bake
  1. Divide dough and roll into two 12-inch logs. Let rise for 45 minutes.
  2. Brush with egg wash. Scatter Monterey Jack, cheddar, oregano, basil, and garlic flakes.
  3. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cheese is toasted.
