Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef 80/20 recommended
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup low-carb marinara sauce no sugar added
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 1 Large Skillet

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cream cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Continue to stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is well combined.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese over the beef. Arrange the pepperoni slices and black olives on top.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella and all the parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.

Notes

Feel free to customize this casserole with your favorite low-carb pizza toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, or cooked sausage.
For the best results, use freshly grated mozzarella cheese.
