Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 680g, sliced into thick strips
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour 64g
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 2 cups Panko Breadcrumbs 120g
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter 57g, melted
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Italian Parsley Finely minced

Equipment

  • 1 Rimmed Baking Sheet To catch any drips.
  • 1 Wire Cooling Rack Essential for 360-degree air circulation.
  • 3 Shallow Dredging Bowls For the flour, egg, and breadcrumb stations.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a wire cooling rack inside a rimmed baking sheet. Lightly spray the rack with non-stick spray.
  2. Pat the white chicken breast meat completely dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Coating
  1. Set up three bowls: Flour mixed with paprika/garlic powder, beaten eggs, and Panko mixed with melted butter.
  2. Dip chicken in flour, then egg, then press firmly into the Panko to create a thick, craggy, highly textured coating.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the exterior shows golden-brown toasted ridges and the interior reaches 165°F (74°C).
  2. Remove from oven and immediately scatter finely minced parsley over the stack of chicken pieces.

Notes

Use a wire rack to prevent soggy bottoms.
Ensure the chicken is patted very dry before dredging for maximum adhesion.
