Ingredients

Acai Smoothie Bowl Ingredients
  • 2 packets unsweetened frozen acai puree (200g total), kept frozen
  • 1 medium frozen banana (120g), broken into chunks
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (60ml), unsweetened
  • 2-3 medium fresh strawberries (45g), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 medium fresh banana (60g), sliced into pale yellow rounds
  • 2 tbsp fresh blueberries (20g)
  • 1/4 cup golden-brown granola clusters (25g)

Equipment

  • 1 High-Speed Blender with Tamper Essential for blending frozen fruit without extra liquid.
  • 1 Rustic Wooden Bowl Chill in the freezer before serving to prevent melting.

Method

Blending and Assembly
  1. Add the frozen acai packets, frozen banana, and almond milk to a high-speed blender. Blend on low speed, aggressively using the tamper to push the fruit into the blades.
  2. Increase speed to medium-high until the mixture forms a thick, deep magenta acai smoothie base with a glossy, rich texture. Do not over-blend.
  3. Scoop the thick base into a chilled rustic wooden bowl. Use a spoon to create gentle swirls on the surface.
  4. Tracing the left rim of the bowl, arrange a cascade of thinly sliced strawberries, a line of banana slices, a sprinkle of fresh blueberries, and a cluster of golden-brown granola.

Notes

Tip 1. Pre-slice all your toppings before blending so the bowl does not melt while you prepare the fruit.
Tip 2. If the blender struggles, turn it off and stir rather than adding more milk to preserve the thick texture.
